Hunger Games - Some Die Young

This is a fanart for The Hunger Games inspired by the song "Some die young" by Laleh.

Ive been home ill for 2 days now, and even though i should be doing SO much homework i couldnt just let this be. I drew it on paper last week, and scanned and drew it last night and this morning. So aprox 3-4 hours used, i guess.

I didnt wanted to do a real painting, just something "fast" as i dont really have the time, and i really wanted to be finished with this, mostly because its been SO long since i last did a Hunger Games drawing.

So, this is Katniss and Peeta, dont know if its an actual scene, not what i intended at least, cus its been like 3 years since i last read the book. Its simply inspired by the song. i think the lyrics really fit the characters and the story, so i just wanted to do one where Katniss is really scared that Peetas gonna die, and she tells him all about how she wants him to live:

I think the lyrics is really strong and really emotional, so i tried to capture some of it in the drawing. It was actually a really quick sketch in my book, but i tried to make it alittle better in photoshop.

Actually this was also just a drawing i wanted to do before my mind gets changed by the movie! Im gonna catch it this friday, hopefully i am well til then!^^
